Last week, we officially announced that Navman Wireless has been acquired by Danaher Corporation, a Fortune 250 science and technology company that is traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE:DHR). This business marriage gives us new resources to continue enhancing our fleet and asset management platform – all while still operating as a standalone company with the same locations, personnel and leadership.
Over the past few years, Navman Wireless has become one of the largest providers of fleet and asset management technology in the world. We now manage more than 175,000 vehicles owned by 14,000 organizations on five continents, with ongoing growth fueled both by rising demand and by entry into new vertical and geographic markets.
That success, the innovations we have introduced, and the ability of our technology to help fleet managers improve both their operations and their bottom line sparked Danaher's interest in our company. We now enter the next chapter of our business history with the backing of a Fortune 250 company that is as committed as we are to delivering the best products and services for our customers.
