The mandate on electronic logging devices for commercial motor vehicles has been upheld in court—again. After multiple challenges by groups intent on overturning the rule, the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals has affirmed the ELD Final Rule and its deadline of December 18, 2017.
This decision by the court should eliminate the last traces of hesitation among transportation carriers in implementing elogs throughout their fleet.
