The BusinessCar Techies – or Fleet Technology Awards – are the only prizes in fleet that reward technological innovation. Now in their fifth year, the eleven categories are judged by an expert panel, and reward those companies best using technology to commercial fleets run their vehicles in a cleaner, less time consuming, safer and more efficient way.

 

Teletrac's GPS fleet software, Fleet Director®, was honored with the award due to its powerful driver monitoring capabilities, such as the ability to gauge harsh braking, speeding and stop sign violations. This insight into driver behavior has helped companies produce reports that allow fleet operators and insurance companies to make informed business decisions. In turn, these features have allowed companies to deliver a 30% reduction in their insurance premiums in addition to decreasing the risk of fleet driver accidents by 20%.
