To overcome these challenges, Leedale Ltd. turned to Teletrac Navman’s MNAV 950 in-cab communication unit, which facilitated instant communication between drivers and operating bases, as well as improved route planning. The MNAV 950 can also be removed from the cab and utilised as a paperless vehicle defect notification system that integrates directly with fleet management software. The company adopted Teletrac Navman’s DIRECTOR platform, an advanced fleet tracking system that provides fleet managers with access to real-time data through a single, user-friendly interface. DIRECTOR’s Smart Telematics performance reporting feature enabled Leedale to generate detailed reports on vehicle usage, distance covered, idling times, excessive fuel consumption, and instances of poor driver productivity, allowing for adjustments in charges as necessary.
